Hi Folks Here's a little solo ad result list that I put together. Please remember that results will vary and also the results also reflect
your ad copy and especially your subject line. Any newbies I strongly
recommend that you do some research on creating headlines. Before spending money on solo ads it's a good idea to first test your ads
for best results. Also I recommend that you track all your ads for

Instant Buzz Free Search Bar Ad http://www.instantbuzz.com No cost: 720 clicks 101 leads 3 sales Worth setting up a free account. 8. ProBizTips 2 Solo Ad Run Cost: $350 http://www.probiztips.com a strong spot I would recommend. 9. PC Quickie Solo Ad Cost: $300 1354 Clicks 13 leads 0 Sales Not worth giving you the link 10. Web Pro Times Solo Ad Cost: $247 1143 Clicks 43 Leads 1 Sale Not worth it. 11. DEMC Solo Ad Test This solo ad went out to a circulation of 40,000 subscribers and cost was $400. http://www.demc.com Results: This ad resulted in 618 unique clicks and 297 lead for a lead conversion of 48% and a lead cost of $1.34 per lead, but it gets better. This ad netted 30 sales, for more than 10% conversion rate lead to sale. Clearly profitable and a highly recommended ad spot for any online business related promotion. 12. EzineQueen Classified Ad Test. This classified ad was placed in 4 different newsletter editions that went out to a 30,000 subscriber base at a cost of $500. Website: http://www.ezinequeen.com I would not recommend this ad spot to a newbie, but certainly I would recommend it to a more advance marketer who has ample cash flow to wait for their ad placements to run bringing them into a cash positive state. 13. Online-Exchange Solo Ad Test This solo ad was at a cost of $50 and went out to a subscriber base of 15,000. Website: http://www.online-exchange.com I highly doubt that the list is 15,000 people and if it is, it's extremely old and heavily marketed to. I would pass on this one. 14. PowerHomeBiz.com Text Link PowerHomeBiz.com is one of the most highly trafficked website in the home business arena and has several types of advertisements available. I chose for this test a 3 month text link at $900. Website: http://www.powerhomebiz.com Results: 3967 unique visitors and 1007 leads for a lead conversion rate of 26.99% and so far 20 sales with one month to go with this run. I wouldn't suggest this type or size of an ad to someone without a monthly advertising budget of several thousand dollars. If you've got the money to test I give this one a thumbs up because the number of leads is so high that there are several opportunities for recouping ad cost through multiple sales or affiliate product sales.

Methods for making money online
There are many ways to make money on the internet. Some of the ways are:

There are many more ways to make money on the internet and any method you choose can be started very easily. While starting an internet business can be very easy to start, making money fast is the hard part for most.
I have been in Internet Marketing for a few years now and I have made money in affiliate marketing. If you want to make money with internet marketing then you must be proficient with two very important skills to succeed.
- Keyword research
- Driving traffic to web sites
When you are starting out concentrate your learning on keyword research and driving traffic to your web site. It does not matter what method to make money you choose you need these two skills to promote anything.
Why Keyword Research
To be successful keyword research is a skill that you must be proficient in. When you understand and know how to do keyword research for your business, then you will be able to :
- Identify what people want to buy
- Identify what keywords to put in your website to get visitors
- Identify what keywords to use to target your ideal customer
If you do not do keyword research with your Internet Marketing campaigns then you have failed already, you will not make any money online.
Driving traffic
Driving traffic is also a skill that you must have to be successful. It does not matter what money making method you decide to use.
You need to get traffic to your site. There is no getting around that.
No traffic to website = no conversions no conversions = no money
Look, you might of heard of this popular equation before. I’m going to write it down to remind you if you already know it and educate you if you do not know.
To make money on the internet you need to follow this equation:
targeted traffic + website conversions = money in your account
This equation will make you money if you follow it.
Let’s face it, driving traffic is what all successful internet marketers do. There is simply no getting around it. If you drive targeted traffic to your website the conversions will come. But before you have any chance of getting any sales (conversions) first you need the traffic. And the more targeted traffic that you are able to get to your web site then the better conversions your site will produce.
Don’t get bogged down with trying to learn everything there is to know about internet marketing.
- Learn how to do keyword research
- Learn how to drive traffic to your website
- Pick a method to make money
(I recommend that you start out with putting up ad sense sites or affiliate marketing)

How to start your awesome Wordpress Blog
If you are not a whiz at using FTP software to upload your WordPress blog to your server and if you don’t know what I am talking about, then read how you can easily get your WordPress blog up and running in no time at all without knowing all that tech stuff.

First register your domain name at Godaddy.com

Then get your hosting at Hostgater.com
You can use a different hosting provider if you prefer but when choosing a hosting provider make sure it has Linex. Don’t ask me why just trust me. 
- Next point your name servers to your hosting provider.
How to do this can be found in Godaddy. Godaddy is very good at explaining how to do things. You can even call Godaddy to have a live person talk you through it. It’s a great service.
After you have your domain name, hosting provider and you have your domain name pointing to your hosting provider , you are now ready to install your wordpress blog to your hosting and get it live on the internet.
Installing WordPress to your Hosting Provider
- Login to your Hosting providers Cpanel
- Find the Fantastico Icon
- Click on Fantastico
- Look for and click the WordPress installation
- Fantastico will install WordPress to your hosting for you
- Congratulations ! Your blog is live on the Internet
How to Configure your WordPress blog
After using Fantastico to install your WordPress blog on your hosting provider , you need to configure your blog to make it search engine friendly.
In your WordPress dash board do the following:
1. Activate the Akismet plug in to block spam post.
To do so you have to get your Api key number by signing up for an account at WordPress.com After you get your Api key number be sure and save it in a notepad, you might need it in the future.
2. Clear your blog roll links that comes with WordPress.
They all link to WordPress so you don’t need them unless your blog is about blogging.
3. Set up your profile.
4. Set up your perma links. Delet the default perma link, copy and paste this perma link struture with no spaces:
/%postname%.html
It’s to help with the search engines.
5. In your WordPress dash board delete the default ping address then copy and past your ping list.
You can find the ping list by doing a Google seach for WordPress ping list. Delete the default ping address
.
6. In the general tab enter www. in-front of your URL.
Again to help with search engines.
After doing all that you will be ready to choose your free theme for your WordPress blog.
Later you can change your theme for a better looking paid theme if you want to.
After you do these steps your good to go to start posting awesome articles in your blog to attract the people that you need to grow your business.
Be sure to look at different WordPress plug- ins for your blog. There are many to choose from. I recommend that you use All in one SEO plug in to help you optimize your blog for seo. You can find more plug-ins for your WordPress blog here .
After you get your blog up and you are posting articles you should do some research as you go along to learn how to improve your blogging experience and get better at it to get the results that you need.
